TITLE: Charting Your Course
TARGET AUDIENCE: Pastors, Stewardship Team, Treasurer
PURPOSE: To train pastors how to lead this interactive budget development tool.
DESCRIPTION: This conference equips pastors to use an exciting, interactive, and results producing budget development tool. During the event, which centers around a banquet/meal, members will help decide the direction of church ministries and indicate their level of financial support. A positive challenge to Christian giving is presented. This is a remake of the very effective Great Challenge Program of 1975. This event supplements and does not replace the work of the church budget committee.
TIME REQUIREMENTS: The training conference will take one and one half hours plus fellowship time or meal.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Stewardship Department
Provide leadership
Provide sample materials when possible
Help with promotion
Association
Arrange meeting
Promote meeting
Provide refreshments or meal
Provide tables, lectern, projection screen, etc. as required by the
consultant.
