TITLE: Training the Stewardship Team
TARGET AUDIENCE: Pastor’s, current or potential Stewardship Team Members, Treasurer, Financial Secretary
PURPOSE: To lead churches to equip those who provide leadership in the area of finances and stewardship so that they can more effectively work together as a team.
DESCRIPTION: Job descriptions will be used to identify the responsibilities of the various positions that make up the Stewardship Team. The importance of working together, proper communication, and accountability will be stressed. Adapting the team concept to smaller and larger churches will be covered.
TIME REQUIREMENTS: One hour plus fellowship time.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Stewardship Department
Provide leadership
Provide sample materials when possible
Help with promotion
Association
Arrange meeting
Promote meeting
Provide refreshments or meal
Provide tables, lectern, projection screen, etc. as required by the consultant.
