Are you interested in church planting in Colorado?

One of our constant prayers is that the Lord of the Harvest would continually raise up Harvesters (Luke 10:2). We are available to help you learn more about your role in church planting in Colorado.

Our team of church planting missionaries works to identify places where new churches are needed, to work with churches who want to multiply themselves through church planting, and to identify God-call people to serve as church planters and on church planting teams.

We want to help you clarify that call and determine if we should partner together to plant a church. This outlines our church planting selection process.

Step One – Get Informed - Learn about Colorado Church Planting

Step Two – Contact Us

Contact our regional church planting strategists for a phone or face to face interview to discover life & ministry history, passions & impressions. Each one of our directors of our associations is also the church planting strategist for the region. Contact them to get aquainted and to learn about the opportunities in their areas.

Step Three –Church Planting Application

Complete the application including basic doctrinal questions & character questions etc. We understand it is long, but it shows that we are committed to carefully asking the Lord to send us qualified church planters – and we are committed to help place God called church planters in the best setting for fruitful ministry.

Step Four – References & Background check

We do examine the reputation of the potential planter as well as confirm strengths & weaknesses from primary sources. Candidates are asked to send a reference form to 7 individuals.

Step Five– Assessment Interview

Our regional stategists may invitie you to participate in a four hour assessment with spouse to determine behavioral strengths & weaknesses.

Step Six  - People Search & Place Assessment

Sponsoring church conducts interviews for potential planter as well as planting leadership personnel.

A Church Planting team interviews planting couple to determine levels of support & concerns.

Church Planting Candidates visit site to evaluate site

Step Seven – Evaluations & Partnership Covenants

Determine partnership by drawing conclusions, recommendations, & concerns.

Other steps may need to be developed or deleted based on each candidate.
