Church Planting Opportunities

Thanks for learning more about church planting opportunities in Colorado. Our mission is to reach Colorado with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe that planting diverse churches for every people group is critical in accomplishing this God-sized task.

Generally speaking, we are praying for God to raise up church planters for:

  • Urban Areas (Denver & Colorado Springs)
  • Suburban Areas (Denver Metro, Colorado Springs Metro, Ft Collins / Loveland, Pueblo, Montrose, Grand Junction, Durango)
  • Resort / Mountain Areas
  • Multi Housing Communities
  • Ethnic People Group Focus
  • Collegiate Environments
  • Rural & Small Towns (Eastern Plains, Southern Colorado)

Specific Areas...

  • Fruita, CO - Located on I70 between Grand Junction and the Utah State Line, this town is developing into an affluent suburb of Grand Junction. We already have several sponsor churches lined up and are looking for the right church planter. Contact Kent Shirley at the Grand Valley Baptist Association.
  • Southlands of Aurora - This suburban area is expanding beyond the E470 loop on the Southeast part of Denver/Aurora.
  • Lowry / Stapleton - This urban area is in the heart of the Denver / Aurora metro areas. These are redeveloped areas where innovated planters are needed.
  • Nathrop - A quiet, natural community tucked in a tree-lined canyon beneath the 14,000-foot collegiate peaks.
  • Eagle / Gypsum - This is a small mountain community located on I70 between Vail and Glenwood Springs.
  • Steamboat Springs - A Ski-Resort community located north of I70.
  • Keensburg - This is a small rural community located in the eastern part of our state.
