ICE (Intentional Community Evangelism) will be a major thrust of the ministry efforts of Colorado Baptists during the Democratic National Convention August 25-29. CBGC church members are invited to join the teams coming in from around the country to help with this evangelistic event. Out of town participants can book rooms at the Drury Inn, 9445 E Dry Creek Road by calling Kim Larson at 877-771-2049 or 303-694-3400. Space is limited, so early reservations are encouraged. Since the Drury Inn is right across the street from a light rail station, this will be the main mode of transportation for getting downtown. A shuttle bus is being arranged to take participants to the staging area in downtown Denver. Participants will have EvangeCubes as one of their witnessing tools, along with tracts and Bibles. All of these supplies will be available at the staging area. Four local churches have committed to follow-up with local individuals who make decisions or want more information. These churches are Ward Road Baptist, 1st Southern - Westminster, New Beginmnings Christian Center and HighView Church. Names of other Colorado residents will be sent to the local Associational Directors of Missions throughout the state or the Evangelism Response Center if they are from out of state. Area churches can also be involved by providing meals and snacks for participants. The normal daily schedule will be as follows: All Participants arrive at staging/host site (Hovis residence) 9:30 am
