KIDS KAMP June 23-26, 2008

As a kid, what better way to while away the summer days than to be with friends hiking in the woods, telling stories around the campfire, and sleeping in bunks.  Summer camp is a time honored tradition in the American culture and Kids Kamp at the Ponderosa fulfills that ideal.

This year, kids who have completed 3rd-6th grades will be entertained by Christian Illusionists, David and Teesha Laflin from Sterling, Colorado, and the improv troupe, Stick Horses in Pants, when they attend Kids Kamp at the Pondersa June 23-26.  Free time activities consists of the tower climb and zip line* , paint ball games* , skate park, archery, game room, snack bar, etc.  Recreation time activities include crafts, culinary time in the kitchen, Frisbee golf, low rope course, geocache, orienteering, outdoor school, knots, hiking, mad relays, etc.  Some of the night games will be a treasure hunt, decorate the counselor, capture the flag, etc.

While the days will be filled with fun activities, they will also be laced with teaching from the Word.  The theme verse this year is II Peter 2:9, "But you are a chosen race, a royal prienshood, a holy nation..."

Registration is now open.  Churches must register as a group.  Registration forms are attached below in downloadable format.The fee is $150 per person and includes lodging, meals, registration, conference supplies and t-shirt.  * Some recreational activities have a limited number of openings, require an extra fee, and require pre-registration.

Send your kids to camp!  While they may not say "thank you", they will cherish the memories and their lives could be changed for eternity.
