TITLE: Materials Awareness Conference TARGET AUDIENCE: Pastors, Stewardship Team, Treasurer PURPOSE: To raise the awareness level of leaders as to the availability, types, and usages of a variety of stewardship resources. DESCRIPTION: A presentation of stewardship resource materials which are available through LifeWay, the Southern Baptist Stewardship Director’s Association, and other sources. A variety of samples will receive a quick overview. Resources on all aspects of stewardship development will be presented including budget development and promotion, stewardship education, giving emphases, capital fund raising, and church financial matters. Some free samples may be provided depending on size of group and availability of materials. TIME REQUIREMENTS: One hour plus fellowship time. RESPONSIBILITIES: Stewardship Department Provide leadership Provide sample materials when possible Help with promotion Association Arrange meeting Promote meeting Provide refreshments or meal Provide tables, lectern, projection screen, as required by the consultant.
