TITLE: Associational Great Challenge Event TARGET AUDIENCE: Associational Leadership, Budget Committee, and Executive Board Members. PURPOSE: To provide a means for interactive vision setting and budget development.
DESCRIPTION: Similar to the Charting Our Course church event except it is geared toward the associational level. This is not a training conference but an event which is centered around a banquet/meal and group participation. Associational leaders are provided an avenue to have input into the direction and ministries of the association. This process supplements and does not replace the work of the budget committee. It can be highly motivational and effective in leading churches to increase their contributions to the association. TIME REQUIREMENTS: Two to Two and One Half Hours including the meal (or refreshments). RESPONSIBILITIES: Stewardship Department Provide leadership Provide sample materials when possible Help with promotion
Association Arrange meeting Promote meeting Provide refreshments or meal Provide tables, lectern, projection screen, etc. as required by the consultant.
