Women's Missions and Ministries Prayer Requests

Please pray for the following prayer requests for women's missions and ministries around the world:

From the Combs in Kazakhstan:

The difficulties that we sometimes face in our daily lives could be
called spiritual warfare or perhaps a trial by fire.  Walking through
hard times, no matter what you call them, is not pleasant. God
promises...

"Do not fear, for I am with you."  Isaiah 43:5  These words of promise
are a great comfort and encouragement, especially since these past couple
of weeks have been stressful.  As you read some of the events listed
below, rejoice with us and give God the glory for all that He has done in
each situation.

DON'S BACK  -Even though Don suffered greatly with the bulging disc in
his back, he has improved to about 90%.  He still struggles with pain in
his left leg the most and is still following the doctor's orders hoping
for more improvement in the days ahead.  We rejoice because all of the
Kingdom Tasks that needed to be done these past couple of weeks have been
accomplished.

VISA RENEWAL -Just a few days before our visas were to expire, the city
official that approves our new visas, requested a new document be
provided for our file. We knew that all we could do was make an effort to
fulfill the request and wait on God to carry it through.  One day before
the expiration day, we had in hand all that was required and turned them
in to the official.  To our amazement, instead of the usual 90 day visas,
we were given 6 months visas! We're now good through the end of the year!

DON'S DAD -While Don was recovering with his back in Dubai, UAE, his Dad
in Missouri went to see the Doctor and was shocked by the discovery of 5
brain tumors.  On June 30th, Don's Dad was given a diagnosis that he has
non-small cell lung cancer, grade 3, which as also spread into his brain.
Aggressive treatment is taking place, in that he has already had 3
radiation treatments and will begin chemo after he completes the
radiation therapy.  We have made plans to take 3 weeks of vacation and
arrive in the states on August 10, his father's
74th birthday.  Of course, while in the States, we plan to see other
family while there, such as our children and grandchildren!

NATIONAL PARTNERS -Two different families have lost teenage nephews due
to accidental deaths this past month.  Don was given an opportunity to
testify with confidence all that God's Word gives to those who trust Him.
One family member who is a strong seeker, listened with great interest
and thanked Don for sharing those words.

NEW LAW -We know that recently during the first reading in Parliament
that some changes were made in the new law regarding changes in religious
freedom and it passed this first reading.  There will be two more
readings before going to the next governmental level.  We do not know
exactly what kind of changes were made, but we are praying for religious
freedom to continue here.

"GREEN LIGHT" -Because of the concern over the prospects of the new law,
some church leaders expressed reservations for openly advertising our
English project.  Yesterday we were given a "green light" to advertise
and continue as planned.  We have placed ads in the next two issues of
two popular local newspapers and have placed an ad on two cable TV
channels that will run for 4 days.  Please pray for everyone involved in
this project, the volunteers, the national students and church members.
Especially pray that many will read or see the ads and check out the
English Course being offered from July 14 - 18. Pray also for the 6
member team with individuals coming from Missouri, Georgia, Indiana, and
Mississippi, to arrive on July 10 ready to go!  May God be glorified in
these days to come!

From the Hatchcock's in Ukraine:
We are thankful for cooler weather! The blind camp went well and the Michigan state group was able to minister to the campers and help the church planter. The English camp at our church and the Farsi church went really well. The Farsi group said that the group not only broke the ice with-in their group but melted it with God's love. There is at least one young man that is very close to accepting Christ. We are thankful for Abigail as we celebrated her 9th Birthday and the blessing that she is to our family.
Please pray:
The Michigan State group would have a safe and peaceful journey home on Wednesday and that God would bring to mind the memories and things that they will be able to share when they return home.
Strength and wisdom for Darrel as he has a lot of work to accomplish this week.
Arianna, Abigail and Sophia would learn to hear God's voice and to be obedient.
For me to allow Christ to be the center of everything that I do.
Summer missionaries (Rachel, Makayla, Cammie and Angela) that they would finish strong and continue to be available to be used of God.
