Grand Junction congregation celebrates finished facility

Grand Junction -- Emmanuel Baptist Church of Grand Junction celebrated the completion of its new church building with a dedication service this summer.

Completed was the first phase of a two-phase project.  The church is located on 4.3 acres at the corner of D Road and 31-5/8 Road.  Pastor Bob Murr and his wife, Ruth, who have served at Emmanuel since November 2001, said what God has done "is nothing short of a miracle."

"The way God has supplied workers and money, along with the steady growth of the church has been "truly amazing," Bob Murr said, adding that "as folks come to the new building," they are "truly sitting in a modern-day miracle."
