Pat Walker
Pat and Larry Walker are the Mission Service Corps Coordinators in the Western Colorado Office of the Colorado Baptist Convention.
Pat was born and raised in Creede, CO. She graduated from Adams State College, Alamosa, CO with a degree in Business and Education. She worked as a high school teacher in Alamosa, at Barnes Business College in Denver and at Hutchinson career center in Fairbanks, AK. Pat also worked with her husband as the business manager at the automobile dealership they owned and operated until 1995.
Larry and Pat moved to Fairbanks, AK after marrying where Larry worked in the automobile industry. They owned and operated their own dealership until 1995. The Walkers have been involved in Baptist work in Colorado. During the 30 years they were in Alaska, they helped start a church in Fairbanks and organized and went on various mission trips. After 1995 they both attended seminary at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and trained for the Mission Service Corps during their time at seminary. In 1998 they moved to Seattle, WA., where they were assigned as VIM consultants for the Puget Sound Association. They moved back to Colorado in 2003 and became involved in the associational work in Western Colorado.
