Partnership Missions
Missions involvement is one important defining trait of Southern Baptists. In North America and around the world, more than 10,000 missionaries are supported by Southern Baptists, including those in Colorado. In addition to financial and prayer support, Colorado's Southern Baptists are personally involved in hands-on missions.
Search this section to discover how you and your church can become personally involved in hands-on missions through our partnerships.

What is Mission Service Corps?
| An Overview |
Mission Service Corps (MSC) is a task force of missionaries who give full or part time service for four months or more. They provide their own support in an assigned mission/evangelism ministry. The assignment comes through the Mission Service Corps Department of the North American Mission Board.
About the Church Planting Team
The Missional Church Team leads Colorado's Southern Baptists in identifying unreached people groups and planting new churches among them. Whether in ethnic communities, resort and leisure areas, or within socio-economic groups, they're leading Colorado's Southern Baptists to penetrate all pockets of lostness in our state.

Interested in Church Planting?
Are you interested in church planting in Colorado?
One of our constant prayers is that the Lord of the Harvest would continually raise up Harvesters (Luke 10:2). We are available to help you learn more about your role in church planting in Colorado.
Our team of church planting missionaries works to identify places where new churches are needed, to work with churches who want to multiply themselves through church planting, and to identify God-call people to serve as church planters and on church planting teams.
We want to help you clarify that call and determine if we should partner together to plant a church. This outlines our church planting selection process.
MSC, other missionaries can apply for special scholarships
Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary recently announced that financial assistance for seminary training is available to some mission volunteers accepted by Southern Baptist boards.

Rising above repression
Soviet persecution couldn't stop Denver missionary's destiny
By Mickey Noah
SBC North American Mission Board
Denver-- Little Anatoliy Odnoralov often came home after school with a bloody nose, the result of just another day as a Christian at his school in the North Caucasus region of the old Soviet Union.
"Since early childhood, I knew the price for my convictions," he said.
Anatoliy was the third-born son o fan ordinary shoemaker. He and Anatoliy's mother were faithful believers in Jesus Christ. Unfortunately, they were believer living in a godless, atheistic nation dedicated to the persecution of Christians.
As the family grew to 13, Anatoliy's father faithfully drew them together and read stories from the Bible, urging his children to pray. With his meager cobbler's pay, he purchased a guitar and an accordion and taught himself and his children to play. He even formed a family band -- pretty easy to do with 13 children in the home.
