Our mission is to assist in developing Biblical Stewards within the local congregation and to help churches accomplish their own stewardship goals for the work of the Kingdom.
Confidential Counseling and Consulting
Ministers and their family members are not exempt from the stresses that other families experience, however, they often face additional ones. This is particularly true for many of our ministers in Colorado as they are often separated from family, friends, and oftentimes operate under very difficult financial challenges. In addition to these stresses, ministers may also experience challenges such as:
LifeSkills for Congregations
LifeSkills for Congregations is a resource developed by the Pastoral Care and Chaplaincy Department, which was designed to help communicate needs to churches and to ministers regarding potentially challenging areas for each. It was designed around five themes. The key themes and some of the chapter headings are included below:

Iron Man and our Spiritual Suit of Armor

I’ll get right to the point…Iron Man was Awesome! If you’re thinking about waiting for it to come out on DVD, don’t. Recently my wife and I took several teens to Ruby Tuesday’s for lunch and then to the movies after their hard work this morning as volunteers for a local church festival. As I sat on the edge of my seat I thought how cool it would be to have my own suit like Iron Man’s I’d be able to fly at supersonic speeds and have superhuman strength.
June festival features Christian musicians, speakers
The God Rally Project is a free three-day music festival June 20-22 in Rifle.
Artists scheduled to appear at the Garfield County Fairgrounds on Railroad Avenue include Lindsy Morton, Jimmy Needham, Big Daddy Weave, Mark Phillips, Sonflowerz, Rough Draft, Five Face Down, Soulja and many others.
CBGC Student Minstry Network!
Did you know that CBGC youth leaders have their own network?
Thats right, the newly formed Colorado Baptist Youth Ministries network is up and running. This is the network for Southern Baptist youth leaders in the state of Colorado (CBGC) connection, communication, and strategy to reach the students of Colorado.

A Family Ministry Summit has been planned and is being made available for all interested persons on the Front Range. This will be presented on May 17 in Pueblo at Belmont Baptist Church. CBGC reorganizes division and welcomes new staff member
The Colorado Baptist General Convention recently reorganized the division responsible for assisting churches in evangelism and church health ministries. They also welcomed a new staff member to the team.

Lunch and child-care will be provided as well, but you need to call and make a reservation so there will be enough food and child care help.
